Our story

Where the name comes from

When I was expecting my third, nesting hit hard — but so did everything else. Two little ones underfoot, a due date closing in, and piles around the house I couldn't even look at, let alone deal with. I was exhausted and overwhelmed, trying to build a nest for a baby I hadn't met yet while barely holding the rest of the house together.

But the overwhelm didn't end when the baby arrived. It followed me into postpartum, and it was still there when I had to start thinking about going back to work — trying to walk back into my career while the house behind me hadn't caught up to the life I was now living.

Somewhere in that season, I made a quiet wish: that no mom should have to go through that alone — not the nesting, and not everything that comes after it.

That's where the name comes from. Nest is the instinct — the pull to make your home ready before someone new arrives. But it doesn't stop there. It's also what you're rebuilding in postpartum, and again when you're stepping back into work and your home needs to hold its own weight for the first time in months. Sort is what we actually do about it, whichever season you're in.

We come to you in Sandton & surrounds. We sort, edit, organize, label — and take the donations away with us. You don't lift a box. You just get to breathe again, in your own home.
